Application

1. Peptide Synthesis

  • Fmoc-Dap(Cbz)-OH is an Fmoc-protected derivative of 2,3-diaminopropionic acid (Dap).

  • The α-amino group is protected with Fmoc, and the β-amino group with Cbz, allowing orthogonal protection in Fmoc solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS).

  • Enables selective deprotection and coupling steps for complex peptide architectures.

2. Branched and Cyclic Peptide Construction

  • Widely used to prepare branched, cyclic, or side-chain-modified peptides.
